  • Can my Stopper be in different colours
Yes, our stoppers are digitally printed so we can print pretty much anything on them within reason! Get in touch to discuss your requirements.
  • Can my Dog Stopper be customised or a different size to suit my home?
Yes of course! Our standard Dog Stoppers are 810mm wide x 600mm high. These tend to fit a lot of stair cases but it is always best to check yours. The Large Dog Stopper can be larger on one of these dimensions, so it could be wider up to 1000mm (1m) wide or it an be taller up to 900mm high. They can both be made smaller to suit your stairs or doorway. Our products can all be personalised making them unique to you and special in your home. Just make a note when you order and feel free to ask any questions.
  • Can the feet be painted?
We choose not to paint the feet. They are a natural wood product that we think compliments the Stoppers and fit in with our environmental ethics. We also wouldn't want any paint to harm your pets if they end up chewing the feet. You are welcome to paint the feet yourselves but we would recommend a pet-friendly paint!
  • How do I measure the space to ensure my Stopper fits?
When measuring for your new Stopper we recommend the following: If for the stairs then measure between the skirting boards (or wall if there isn't any) and minus 1 or 2cms so the stopper isn't too snug. If your Stopper is to be positioned in a doorway then we recommend positioning it so it sits against the door frame, this means that if you have a particularly pushy little pet, they will only push the stopper against the frame. So when measuring, include this. Our Stoppers are made to be moveable so you can re-position them around your home when it suits you. For this reason they may not withstand a dog pushing against them without the added support of either a door frame or the back of the stair. Please contact us for any further advice.
